What a naming ceremony can be
A naming ceremony with me can look however you want it to look.
There are no fixed rules and no prescribed wording. It can include religious elements if that’s an important part of who you are, or none at all. It can be spiritual, practical, traditional, modern, or whatever combination reflects your life.
It might be a gathering in a garden, a hall, a hotel, a pub or somewhere that already feels like you.
You might want other people involved such as family, friends and anyone whose been part of the story so far. Or you might want to keep it simple.
It can be small and intimate, or full of energy.
The shape is yours. We build it to fit.

We shape the tone and meaning together.
I write the ceremony from scratch so it sounds like you – not like something lifted from a greetings card.
I help you find the right structure. I make sure family and community are involved in a way that feels genuine and easy.
On the day, I lead it calmly and confidently so you can actually be in it – not worrying about what comes next.
No pastel nonsense. No greeting-card sentiment.

You don’t need a plan
When we first have a chat, you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. A blank piece of paper works fine too.
We’ll talk it through, work out what fits and create something from there.
This is collaborative, not performative.

Naming Ceremonies — £350
That includes:
An initial 30-minute coffee or Zoom to see if I am the right Celebrant for you
A planning meeting (around 60 minutes) to shape the tone and meaning
A fully personalised ceremony written from scratch
Script refinement and thoughtful edits
Support shaping music, readings and shared moments
Me arriving at least 60 minutes before the ceremony
Professional delivery on the day
A beautifully presented copy of the ceremony to keep
Travel within 50 miles of Warwick is included.
Beyond that, 45p per mile.
A £200 booking fee secures the date. The remaining balance is required seven days before the celebration.
