How it works

We usually start with a coffee together somewhere or a Zoom call, to see if you think I am the right person to create and delivery your wedding ceremony.

Nothing formal, nothing salesy. Just a proper conversation to see if it feels like a good fit. If it does, great. You book in, your date’s in my diary, and then we get things moving.

We start with a planning chat – usually between an hour and a half and two hours, which is usually enough time for me to get a real sense of you both.

We’ll cover the important bits such as how you met, what matters, and the kind of feel you want on your wedding day.

Building it

I take what you share to shape your ceremony that feels natural and easy – completely written from scratch to something that feels really like you.

I’ll shape the structure, the tone and the key elements that you want to include and make sure that it all flows together.

We focus on the things you want - music, readings, potentially a ritual (if it feels right for you both) - and we build something that has depth and meaning.

If you need guidance on what to include and what to leave out, I can help you. If you already know what you want, that’s great… either way works for me.

Getting it right

You’ll see the ceremony in advance.

We’ll edit to make sure it flows well and feels right for what you want. Usually, two rounds of reviewing and editing works, but we can always do more until you are happy.

Before the day

With this option, there isn’t a full rehearsal before the big day. But I will let you know exactly how it’s going to work - so nothing feels awkward, and I will never let you feel unsure about anything.

I’ll share the script and speak with your key team beforehand - the photographer, the dog chaperone, the videographer… whoever plays a part in the ceremony. I’ll always speak with the venue team well in advance too.

On the day

I’ll be there at least 90 minutes before, usually in my jeans and bad hair, but don’t worry, I will be fully wedding-ready well before you need me.

I make sure everything is set, speak with the venue team to make sure you’re not dealing with logistics.

Then I deliver it - calm, relaxed and in a way that fits how you want it to feel.

Holding the room, keeping it easy, making it feel fabulous.

Afterwards

You’ll have your ceremony words - something to read back and think, the ceremony set the tone of the day.
